The Southwest Kansas Storm and Dodge City Dental Care, our exclusive player signee sponsor, are excited to introduce you to our newest signee Armani Webster.  Armani is a long and physical defensive back from Chicago, Illinois that will compete for a job patrolling the secondary.  He had a very illustrious high school football career that saw him contribute in almost every aspect of the game, including being a 2 time team captain, team MVP, and was elected to play in the Illinois Shrine All Star Game.  Armani’s talents earned him a scholarship to play football at the University of Nebraska-Kearney in the MIAA Conference.  He finished his career with the Lopers playing in an impressive 46 games and racked up 113 total tackles, 83 solo’s, 2 interceptions, 3 forced fumbles, and 21 PBU’s resulting in him being selected to the All-MIAA 3^rd Team.  Coach Thomas had this to say about Armani joining the franchise, “Armani has tons of potential.  He’s long, athletic, physical, smart, and has the ability to play multiple positions in the secondary.  When building this secondary I was targeting players with very specific traits…elite speed, length, and off the chart playmaking ability.   He definitely checks some of those boxes, but as an added bonus, he’s a great striker!
