WELCOME TO THE SOUTHWEST KANSAS STORM
The Storm is a professional arena football team representing all of Southwest Kansas, playing in the National Arena League. The Storm were established in 2021 and were announced as an expansion team for the Champions Indoor Football League in September of 2021. Set to begin playing in 2022 at the United Wireless Arena.
After playing two seasons in the Champions Indoor Football League, the Storm made the move to the revived AFL in 2024, and remained with their playing partners in 2025 as they formed the AF1. After the 2025 season the Storm made the move to the National Arena League reuniting with teams they once played against in the CIF.
The first season in the National Arena League would end in an 11-1 record, and the first Championship victory in franchise history for the Storm in front of around 3,000 fans at the United Wireless Arena.
