by Logan Hernandez

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: The Southwest Kansas Storm, and our exclusive player signee sponsor Dodge City Dental Care would like to announce the signing of our most experienced player to date, Paul Browning.  Paul has a wealth of playing experience and knowledge of football at various levels including the NFL and is excited to be returning to the AFL.  He is an imposing wide receiver with a great frame coming in a shade under 6’4 and weighing 220lbs.  Paul is a native of Colorado Springs, Colorado and attended college at Colorado State University-Pueblo.  He was a 4-year starter in college, earned all-conference 3 times, and a was a 2-time NCAA All American.  He is the leading receiver in CSUP football history, was a member of the 2014 National Championship football team and is a member of the CSUP Athletic Hall of Fame.  Paul has spent time with the Cleveland Browns and Carolina Panthers of the National Football League and has played multiple years with various franchises in the Arena Football League.  In the offseason he spends his time coaching and training wide receivers of all ages, from youth all the way to NFL prospects.  Coach Thomas had this to say about Paul’s expected contribution to the Storm organization, “Paul is a seasoned pro in every definition of the word.   He has size, speed, technique, unmatched maturity, and valuable knowledge of the Arena game.  The truth is we have an extremely athletic roster at this point, but we are equally inexperienced as it pertains to indoor football.  There is a learning curve for these young guys, and Paul will help to bridge that gap and speed up the knowledge of our WR group and decrease some of our teaching time for our coaching staff.  Furthermore, he will show everyone in our organization what a true professional looks like on a daily basis.  I am extremely proud to add another high-quality athlete and person to our football team.”  The Storm franchise and Dodge City Dental Care would like to welcome Paul Browning to Southwest Kansas.
